My Straight device isn't connecting to the app. What should I do?

If you are experiencing problems connecting your Straight device to the app, first ensure that the device is turned on and not connected to the USB charging cable. While the app is searching for a Straight device within range, the indicator light will be FLASHING BLUE.

If your device shows a STEADY GREEN/BLUE light and is not connecting, please contact our support team through the in-app chat.

If your Straight device is FLASHING BLUE and still not connecting after pressing the connect button on the app's home screen, please try the following:

1.) Pair the device as a new device through Menu > Settings > Pair a new Straight. After pairing, the light will change to FLASHING GREEN.

2.) If pairing as a new device is not working, and the device is still FLASHING BLUE, please make sure your permissions are enabled:

 - For Android phones: Go to your phone's settings > Apps > Straight > Permissions and ensure that GPS and Bluetooth are enabled.

 - For iPhones: Go to your phone's settings > Privacy > Bluetooth and ensure that the toggle next to Straight is on.

3.) After setting the permissions, try pairing your device again.

4.) If permissions are enabled and the device is still not connecting while FLASHING BLUE, try turning off your phone's Bluetooth and resetting both the Straight device and your phone.
